Sant Elm

An old fishing village

Sant Elm has become a small tourist centre, quiet and cosy, made up of summer and residential houses, where you can find a wide variety of restaurants, bars and a small shopping area.

This coastal town was formerly known as La Palomera, where the troops of King James I anchored before disembarking in Santa Ponça in 1229. Until the beginning of the 20th century, Sant Elm made its living from fishing and salted fish.
